Love songs
AI Love Song Generator
The best love songs are specific. Tell SongUp how you met, the little things you love and the sound you both like, and the AI writes and sings an original song for an anniversary, a proposal, a wedding or an ordinary Tuesday.
On Pro the song is composed from your own story, or from lyrics you write yourself. The free plan matches your idea to an instant song from the SongUp library.
How to make a love song with AI
Step 1
Write down three true details
Where you met, a habit of theirs you love, a moment only the two of you share.
Step 2
Choose the mood
Slow and tender for a first dance, upbeat and playful for an anniversary video, cinematic for a proposal.
Step 3
Pick the voice
A solo male or female vocal, or ask for a duet if the song is from both of you.
Step 4
Generate a few takes
Love songs live or die on the chorus. Try a couple of versions and keep the one whose chorus you can’t stop humming.
Prompts to try
Each one opens in the Create studio, ready to edit.

Use this prompt →A structure that works for love songs
- Verse: tell the story. Where, when, what happened.
- Chorus: the feeling in one simple line, repeated. Put their name here if you want it.
- Bridge: look forward. A promise, a hope, the next chapter.
- Skip stock phrases like “you complete me”. One real detail beats five clichés.
Using the song at a wedding
Download the MP3 for your DJ or the venue playlist. If the wedding film will be posted on a monetised channel, make the song on a paid plan, which includes commercial rights.
Writing your own vows as lyrics? Paste them into Lyrics to Song. Want to sing it yourself? Make an instrumental version with the Karaoke Maker.
Frequently asked questions
Can I write my own love song lyrics?
Yes, on Pro and higher plans. Paste your lyrics and describe the style in the prompt, and the AI sings your words over a full arrangement.
Can the song be a duet?
Ask for a male and female duet, or two voices of your choice, in the prompt. If the first take comes out as a solo, generate again or describe each voice more precisely, for example “warm male verse, bright female chorus”.
Can I make a sad love song or a breakup song?
Yes. Describe the feeling (heartbreak, missing someone, moving on) along with the tempo and instruments. Slower tempos, minor keys and sparse arrangements help a sad song land.
Which languages can a love song be in?
Songs can be made in English, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean and Portuguese. Choose the language under Advanced in the Create studio.
