Everything works on your own song and your own photo. Nothing here is AI-made pictures or video: the gift page shows the photo you upload, and the lyric video is drawn in your browser from the song’s words and colours.
What comes with your song
A gift page with your message and photo
Choose Send as a gift, write who the song is for, your name and a message of up to 600 characters, and add a photo you took if you like. You get a private link to send on WhatsApp, by text or by email.
When they open it, they tap Open your gift and the song plays with your photo and your words, and they can read the lyrics along. You can see when it was opened, fix a typo later without changing the link, or turn the link off. The photo is resized on your phone first and its location data is removed, and gift pages never appear in search engines.
Who gets it: every paid song: one bought for $2.99, or any song made on a paid plan.
A lyric video, ready to post
Make an MP4 of your song with its words on screen over the song’s cover colours: vertical for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, or widescreen for YouTube. SongUp AI listens to the song once to time each line to the singing, and the video is made in your browser in about the length of the song.
If the timing can’t be worked out, the lines are spread through the song and the dialog tells you so. Instrumentals have no words, so they don’t get a lyric video.
Who gets it: the whole song with no branding on paid songs. Free accounts get a 30-second clip with SongUp AI branding.
Stems of your song
Split your song into vocals, drums, bass and the rest in one tap from your library, and download each part as a WAV file named after the song. Use them for a remix, a karaoke version, a live backing track or to mix the song yourself.

Remix or extend your song
Make your song again in another style, from 16 ready styles such as acoustic, lo-fi, rock, jazz or orchestral, or type your own. Or ask for a longer take with an intro, a break and an outro, up to about four minutes.
The new version keeps your lyrics but is composed again from scratch, so the tune and the voice can change. Your original song stays as it is.

WAV downloads and a lyric sheet
Download any song as a WAV file for video editors, DJ software and distributors that ask for WAV, and get a one-page PDF lyric sheet with the song’s title, its sections and the owner’s certificate number, ready to print or send to a singer.

How to send a song as a gift
Step 1
Make the song
Describe who it’s for and a few things only you would know, or paste your own lyrics. On a paid plan it’s one of your songs; without a plan, one song is $2.99.

Open Send as a gift
In your library, open the song’s menu and choose Send as a gift under Make it special.
Step 3
Add your message and a photo
Write their name, your name and what you want to say. A photo of the two of you is optional.
Step 4
Send the link
Share it on WhatsApp, by text or by email. When they open it, the song plays with your message and photo, and you’ll see that it was opened.
