SongUp AI in ChatGPT

OpenAI is reviewing the SongUp AI app for the ChatGPT app directory. These steps work once it is listed there.

1. In ChatGPT on the web, desktop or mobile, open the Apps directory.
2. Search for SongUp AI and open it.
3. Press Connect. The app needs no sign-in.
4. In a chat, ask for songs in your own words, or type @SongUp AI to use it directly.

On a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace, an admin may need to allow the app first.

Ask ChatGPT in your own words, for example:

• “Play me some Arabic songs made with AI”
• “Find a chill Hindi lo-fi song”
• “Show me upbeat Spanish reggaeton songs from SongUp AI”
• “Make a birthday song for my best friend”
• “Create a romantic Urdu song for my wife for our anniversary”

For songs, a player appears in the chat. Press play on a song to listen and drag the bar under it to jump ahead. For your own song, a card shows your idea with a Make this song on SongUp AI button that opens the song maker on songupai.com, where you press Create to get a full song with vocals.

The app has two tools. Neither one changes anything or charges you.

• find_songs takes a song language, a few optional words of genre, mood or occasion, and how many songs to show (up to 10), and returns matching songs from the SongUp AI library with a player.
• start_custom_song takes your song idea (occasion, names, story, mood or style, up to 500 characters) and an optional language, and returns a link to the SongUp AI song maker with that idea filled in.

Limits

• Library songs are ready-made examples, not made from your words.
• Custom songs are made on songupai.com, not inside ChatGPT, and need a SongUp AI account.
• If there are no songs in the language you ask for, the app shows songs in another language.
• It does not search or download songs by other artists and does not imitate real singers.
• Songs stream from SongUp AI's storage, so the player needs an internet connection.

SongUp AI receives only what ChatGPT sends to the app for your request: the song language, a few words of genre, mood or occasion and the number of songs, or the song idea you describe. It does not receive your ChatGPT account, name, email or chat history, does not store these requests or link them to a person, and sets no cookies. Details are in our privacy policy.
