SongUp AI vs Udio
The short answer
Udio turned off downloads for every user after its October 2025 deal with Universal Music Group, and its help centre still says downloading audio, video and stems has been disabled. You can make and play songs on Udio, but you can’t take them out. On SongUp AI, every song you make on a paid plan downloads as an MP3 you can keep, post or release. Pro is 21 songs a month for $9.99.
