Can AI make a song with vocals and lyrics?

Can I make an AI song in Hindi, Urdu, Spanish or other languages?

Is AI-generated music copyrighted?
Copyright offices, including the US Copyright Office, protect human authorship, so lyrics you write, melodies you hum and your creative choices are your own work. How does SongUp AI make songs?
Every song SongUp AI composes is made by SongUp AI, whatever kind of song it is: vocal songs, instrumentals, humming to song and background music. Every song counts the same, one song from your plan.
Are free songs made from my prompt?
They are matched to it. The free plan reads your idea and picks the closest finished song from the SongUp AI library (Instant Match) in about 10 seconds, in your language. Songs composed from your exact prompt, custom lyrics and the commercial license start with Pro at $9.99 a month.
How long does it take to make a song?
An Instant Match on the free plan arrives in about 10 seconds. A brand-new song on a paid plan takes longer because it is composed from scratch. You can keep using SongUp AI while it is made, and the song appears in your library when it is ready.
What kinds of songs can the AI song generator make?
Any genre you can describe, with vocals or as an instrumental. There are dedicated pages with ready-to-use prompts for rap, beats, lo-fi, birthday songs and love songs, and for turning your own lyrics into a song.
How do I write a good prompt for an AI song?
Name the genre, the mood, the tempo, the main instruments, the vocal style and what the song is about. For example: an upbeat 2000s pop-punk song at 160 BPM with loud guitars and a female vocal about leaving your hometown. Specific prompts give more predictable songs than one-word ideas.
Can SongUp AI copy a famous singer or an existing song?
No. SongUp AI does not imitate real artists or reproduce existing songs, and prompts that name real artists can be rejected. Describe the sound you want instead: genre, mood, tempo, instruments and vocal style. Using someone's voice without their consent is against the Community Guidelines.
Plans, pricing and payments
How many songs do I get?
Every plan is counted in songs, and every song counts the same whatever its type. A free account starts with 3 songs, all instant matches. Paid plans renew every month: Pro ($9.99) makes 21 brand-new songs, Pro Plus 45, Elite 118 and Ultra 236. Images, videos and voiceovers use part of the same allowance, so they lower your song count a little.
Do I need to install anything?
No. SongUp AI runs in the browser on desktop and mobile. Many of the audio tools, including the stem separator, auto-tune and chord finder, run on your own device, so those files are not uploaded.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account. When a refund is possible is explained in the Refund Policy.
What does the $1 Pro offer include?
Free accounts that have never subscribed can get their first month of Pro for $1. $1 gets you 5 brand-new songs made from your own words, with the commercial license. Then Pro renews at $9.99 a month for 21 songs unless you cancel before the renewal date. It is a limited-time offer and can end at any time.
Do unused songs roll over?
Yes. Songs you don't use roll over and don't expire while your subscription is active. If you upgrade, the new plan's songs are added on top of what you have left.
Who handles payments, and are taxes included?
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. It charges your card, adds any sales tax or VAT that applies in your country at checkout, and emails your receipt.
Rights, releases and earning
Can I use SongUp AI songs commercially?
Yes, if you made the song while on a paid plan (Lite, Pro, Pro Plus, Elite or Ultra). You can then use it in monetized videos, ads, podcasts, games and releases. Songs from the free plan are for personal, non-commercial use with attribution to SongUp AI.
Can I upload AI music to Spotify and Apple Music?
Yes, songs you made on a paid plan. Spotify and Apple Music take AI-assisted music through distributors such as DistroKid, TuneCore or CD Baby, as long as you hold the rights, don't imitate a real artist and answer any AI disclosure question honestly. Each distributor has its own policy, so check it before you upload. Our guide walks through the release step by step.
Can I monetize AI music on YouTube?
Yes, with songs made on a paid plan. Use them in videos on your own channel, which earn ad revenue once the channel joins the YouTube Partner Program, and release them to YouTube Music through a distributor. Be careful with Content ID: many distributors don't accept AI-assisted music for it.
How do I make money with AI music?
Release songs made on a paid plan to streaming platforms through a distributor and earn royalties from streams and from TikTok and Instagram videos that use them. Creators also sell licenses to video makers, lease beats and make custom jingles. SongUp AI takes no share of what you earn. Earnings depend on how many people listen, and nobody can promise an amount.
How do I prove I have a license for a song?
Download the license certificate for your song. Anyone can then check it on the Verify License page with the song's asset ID.

Can I turn humming into a song?
Yes. On Hum to Song, record or upload a melody you hum, sing or whistle. SongUp AI extracts the notes in your browser and composes a song around your tune. It counts as one song from your plan.
How do I remove vocals from a song?
Upload the song to the Vocal Remover & Karaoke Maker or the Stem Separator. The stem separator splits a song into vocals, drums, bass and other parts, or six stems including guitar and piano, right in your browser, and each part downloads as a WAV file.
How do I extract the acapella (vocals only) from a song?
Upload the song to the Acapella Extractor. AI source separation keeps the vocal and removes the instruments, so you can use the voice for remixes, covers, samples and mashups.
How do I make a karaoke version of a song?
Upload it to the Karaoke Maker. It removes the vocals with the same AI model as the stem separator and plays the instrumental with automatically transcribed lyrics, so you can sing along.
How do I master a song online?
Use AI Mastering. Upload your song and a released song in the same genre as a reference, and the tool matches your song's tone and loudness to it, with a limiter ceiling you can set. You download the result as a WAV file, ready for a distributor.
How do I convert audio or a melody to MIDI?
Upload a recording to Audio to MIDI. A pitch-detection model running in your browser finds the notes and gives you a MIDI file to play back and download for your DAW.
How can I find the chords of a song?
Upload the song to the Chord Finder. It detects the key, the tempo and each chord change over time, and shows them on a colour-coded timeline.
How do I remove background noise from a recording?
Upload it to the Noise Remover. It cleans up background noise in voice recordings, podcasts, interviews and field recordings, and you download the cleaned file.
How do I auto-tune my voice online?
Upload your vocal to AI Auto-Tune, choose the key and a style preset, and it pulls the pitch onto the notes of that scale. A pitch graph shows the before and after.
Can I turn my singing or humming into an instrument?

How do I make background music for YouTube videos or podcasts?

How do I make a mashup of two songs?
