Oh, We're Chasing the Sun Down

[Verse]
The tank is full and the sky is blue,
Got the map folded up and a view for two,
Windows down, feel the wind on my face,
Leaving the city for a better place.
Coffee in the cup, yeah we're wide awake,
Every little turn that we decide to take.

[Chorus]
Oh, we're chasing the sun down the open road!
With a light heart and a heavy load of laughter!
Every mile is a brand new start!
Keeping the rhythm in the dashboard heart!
Yeah, we're gone, gone, gone!
Yeah, we're gone, gone, gone!

[Verse]
Singing every song that we used to know,
(Used to know),
Don't care about the speed, we just let it go,
(Just let it go),
Mountains in the distance, green on the side,
Nothing beats the feeling of this morning ride.
Look at the light on the hood of the car,
Feels like we could go incredibly far.

[Chorus]
Oh, we're chasing the sun down the open road!
With a light heart and a heavy load of laughter!
Every mile is a brand new start!
Keeping the rhythm in the dashboard heart!
Yeah, we're gone, gone, gone!
Yeah, we're gone, gone, gone!

[Verse]
No destination, just the way we feel,
Hands on the wheel and it all feels real.
Sun is getting higher, world is spinning wide,
I'm just glad you're riding here by my side!
(By my side!)
Yeah, we're going!

[Chorus]
Oh, we're chasing the sun down the open road!
With a light heart and a heavy load of laughter!
Every mile is a brand new start!
Keeping the rhythm in the dashboard heart!
Yeah, we're gone, gone, gone!
Yeah, we're gone, gone, gone!

[Verse]
Yeah, we're gone... gone... gone!
Keep driving into the sun.
(Let's go!)
Gone, gone, gone!
Gone, gone, gone!
