apres nos épreuves et le passé

after our trials and the past

j'ai resister et j'ai tenu

I resisted and I held on

on était tous paralysé

we were all paralyzed

By this person who is always loved

pour reussir mon reve depuis tout ptit

to achieve my dream since I was little

je penserais toi qui ma dit

I would think of you who told me

"n'abandonne pas mon grand,

"don't give up, my big one,

it's hope that will be useful to you"

To this person who loved me

To this person who raised me

I will tell you many times "I love you"

jusqu'a ton ame repose en paix.

until your soul rests in peace.

Et j'ai aussi faillit oublier

And I almost forgot too

mes frères, ma mère, ma bien aimé

my brothers, my mother, my beloved

je serais toujours la pour vous

I will always be there for you

after so much love you have given me.

(arr.plan) Tu sais... je t'aime fort.

(background) You know... I love you so much.

“jusqu'a ton ame repose en paix.”

until your soul rests in peace.

This line suggests that the person being addressed may have passed away, as the singer wishes for their soul to rest in peace while expressing their enduring love.
