לִבְחֹר רַק בַּטּוֹב, לְהָאִיר אֶת כֻּלָּם,

Livchor rak batov, leha'ir et kulam,

To choose only the good, to illuminate everyone,

וְלָשֵׂאת תְּפִלָּה מֵהַלֵּב אֶל אֱלֹקִים!

velasét tefillah mehalév el Elohim!

And to offer a prayer from the heart to God!

נִשְׁתַּדֵּל אֶת הַדֶּרֶךְ בְּכַוָּנָה לְהַגְשִׁים,

Nishtadel et haderech bechavanah lehagshim,

We will strive to fulfill the path with intention,

בִּתְפִלָּה זַכָּה וּבְיָדַיִם מְרֻמּוֹת.

bitfillah zakah u'veyadayim merumot.

With pure prayer and uplifted hands.

וְלֹא נִשְׁכַּח, בְּרֶגַע שֶׁל חֶסֶד וָאוֹר,

Velo nishkach, berega shel chesed va'or,

And we will not forget, in a moment of grace and light,

לָשִׁיר תּוֹדָה לַבּוֹרֵא:

To sing thanks to the Creator:

עַל כָּל מַה שֶּׁהָיָה,

Al kol mah shehayah,

For all that has been,

עַל הַהֹוֶה וְהַחֲוָיָה,

Al hahoveh vehachavayah,

For the present and the experience,

וְעַל עֲתִידֵנוּ – הַמֵּעִיד עַל טוֹב וָאוֹר.

ve'al atidenu – hame'id al tov va'or.

And for our future – which testifies to goodness and light.

le'imotenu hamesurot, ha'ohavot,

Our devoted, loving mothers,

שֶׁבְּכָל צַעַד יָד נָתְנוּ בֶּאֱמוּנָה.

shebechol tza'ad yad natnu be'emunah.

Who in every step gave a hand with faith.

נִשְׁתַּדֵּל מֵעַתָּה לִהְיוֹת בּוֹגְרוֹת,

Nishtadel me'atah lihyot bogrot,

We will strive from now on to be mature,

וְאֶת רְצוֹן אָבִינוּ שֶׁבַּשָּׁמַיִם לַעֲשׂוֹת.

ve'et retzon avinu shebashamayim la'asot.

And to do the will of our Father in Heaven.
