Sayl al-manaya dafar wal-mawt ghawwas

The flood of doom surged, and death is a diver

*بركان ثاير يهد الحيد لارتاصي*

Burkan tha'ir yahid al-hayd lartaasi

A raging volcano that shatters mountains when it erupts

*زلزال قادم يشق الأرض منقاص*

Zilzal qadim yashuq al-ard minqas

An approaching earthquake that splits the earth asunder

*يقذف لهيب الفنا في راس من عاصي*

Yaqdhif lahib al-fana fi ras man 'asi

It casts the flames of annihilation upon the head of the disobedient

*جانا فريد عرار بالقول قد فاص*

Jana Farid Arar bil-qawl qad fas

Farid Arar came to us, his words overflowed

*رتب بيوت الرثا في وقت الاعواصي*

Rattab buyut al-ritha fi waqt al-a'wasi

Ya Rabb tarham shuyukh al-qawm bil-ikhlas

Oh Lord, have mercy on the leaders of the people with sincerity

*محمد وعلوي هل العز والقاصي*

Muhammad wa 'Alawi ahl al-'izz wal-qasi

Muhammad and Alawi, people of glory and the distant

*كم طوعوا من طغاة القوم والغواص*

Kam tawwa'u min tughat al-qawm wal-ghawwas

How many tyrants and divers of the people they subdued

*واليوم اصبر وذق من كاسنا الغصاص*

Wal-yawm asbir wa dhuq min ka'sina al-ghassas

And today, be patient and taste from our bitter cup

*جاك العذاب النكي من كل مقناص*

Jak al-'adhab al-nakki min kull maqnas

The severe torment has come to you from every hunt

*إحنا الرصاص الطحون الموت للمحواص*

Ih'na al-rasas al-tahoun al-mawt lil-mahwas

We are the crushing bullets, death to the evasive

*نسقي العدا مر في كاسات الاقراص*

Nasqi al-'ada murr fi ka'sat al-aqras

We make enemies drink bitterness in cups of pills

*إحنا الرصاص الحمى والدرع والقرطاس*

Ih'na al-rasas al-hima wal-dir' wal-qirtas

We are the protective bullets, the shield, and the parchment

*نرد كيد الطغاة بضرب الرخاص*

Narudd kayd al-tughat bi-darb al-rikhas

We repel the cunning of tyrants by striking the lowly

*شبت حرايق وتاليها فنا وقصاص*

Shabbat hara'iq wa taliha fana wa qisas

Fires ignited, and their end is annihilation and retribution

*والموت الأحمر سلب أرواح وأنخاص*

Wal-mawt al-ahmar salab arwah wa ankhass

And the red death snatched souls and lives

*يا خصم نذل التوى بالغدر والخباص*

Ya khasm nadhl iltawa bil-ghadr wal-khabbas

Oh despicable opponent, twisted by treachery and deceit

*تربى على النذالة ليل الغلاصي*

Turabba 'ala al-nadhalah layl al-ghalasi

Raised on villainy in the night of darkness

*خنت الموازين واليوم الفنا قناص*

Khant al-mawazin wal-yawm al-fana qannas

You betrayed the scales, and today annihilation is a sniper

*حانت منيتك ما تنجو من رصاصي*

Hanat maniyatuk ma tanju min rasasi

Your demise is near, you will not escape my bullets

*لابـد ما نشدها شد النكا بخلاص*

La budda ma nashudduha shadd al-naka bi-khalas

We must tighten it, a tightening of vengeance with salvation

*وننكل النذل لما يلتوي حاصي*

Wa nunakkil al-nadhl lamma yaltawi hasi

And we will punish the despicable until he is twisted and hard

*نشدها شد ما يترك لكم مخلاص*

*مكواك يحرق كبودك ليل القحاص*

Makwak yahriq kubudak layl al-qahhas

Your branding will burn your livers in the night of crushing

*ونطير الراس من علباه لارتاصي*

Wa nutayyir al-ras min 'albahu lartaasi

And we will fly the head from his neck when it erupts

*نحصد رقاب العدا في لاهب المخاص*

Nahsid riqab al-'ada fi lahib al-makhas

We harvest the necks of enemies in the scorching heat

*ونخلي النذل يبكي ليل القحاص*

Wa nukhalli al-nadhl yabki layl al-qahhas

And make the despicable cry in the night of crushing

*الموت حان وولى وقت الارخاص*

Al-mawt han wa walla waqt al-arkhas

Death is near, and the time of the lowly has passed

*يا باغي الغدر ذق كثر التخباص

Ya baghi al-ghadr dhuq kathir al-takhbas

Oh seeker of treachery, taste the abundance of confusion
