Ya marhaba billī lahunn al-majdu ‘unwān

Welcome to those for whom glory is an address

أهل الكرم والطيب وأهل الشهامة

Ahl al-karam waṭ-ṭīb wa ahl ash-shahāmah

People of generosity, goodness, and chivalry

من نسل شيوخٍ لهم قدر وشان

Min nasl shuyūkhin lahum qadr wa shān

From the lineage of sheikhs who have status and standing

أهل المراجل والوفا والكرامة

Ahl al-marājal wal-wafā wal-karāmah

People of virtues, loyalty, and dignity

فيهن من الهيبة سموّ الأميرات

Fīhinn min al-haybah sumuww al-amīrāt

In them is the majesty of princesses

وفيهن من طيب الأصول العلامة

Wa fīhinn min ṭīb al-uṣūl al-‘alāmah

And in them is the mark of noble origins

حسنٍ وطيبٍ ورفعةٍ بالمقامات

Ḥusnin wa ṭībin wa rif‘atin bil-maqāmāt

Beauty, goodness, and high standing in positions

والعز يمشي في خطاهن وسامة

Wal-‘izz yamshī fī khuṭāhinn wa sāmah

And glory walks in their footsteps with grace

لله درّ اللي ربت هالصفات

Lillāhi durr allī rabbat haṣ-ṣifāt

May God bless those who raised these qualities

غصون عزٍ ما تغيّرها الأيام

Ghuṣūn ‘izzin mā tughayyiruhā al-ayyām

Branches of glory that days do not change

تاجٍ على روس المعالي والثبات

Tājin ‘alā rūsi al-ma‘ālī wath-thabāt

A crown on the heads of eminence and steadfastness

واسمٍ يشرّف في جميع المقامات

Wa ismin yusharrif fī jamī‘ al-maqāmāt

And a name that honors in all positions

لا هن حضرن زان نور المجالس

Lā hinn ḥaḍarn zān nūr al-majālis

When they are present, the light of gatherings brightens

مثل النجوم اللي تزيّن سماها

Mithl an-nujūm allatī tuzayyin samāhā

Like the stars that adorn its sky

لهن مقامٍ ما يجي بالمنافس

Lahunn maqāmin mā yajī bil-munāfis

They have a status that cannot be rivaled

والطيب يشهد لهن قبل حكاها

Waṭ-ṭīb yashhad lahunn qabl ḥakāhā

And goodness testifies for them before their speech

Oh, what a beautiful nature, raised in virtues

من دار عزٍ ما تعرف الملام

Min dār ‘izzin mā ta‘rif al-malām

From a home of glory that knows no blame

ومن أصلٍ بالمكارم تحلّى

Wa min aṣlin bil-makārim taḥallā

And from an origin adorned with noble deeds
