لا إله إلاالله يادسوقي مدد

La ilaha illallah, Ya Dasuqi, madad

There is no god but Allah, O Dasuqi, help!

مَنْ ذَاقَ مِنْ يَنْبُوعِ فَضْلِي شَرْبَةً

Man dhaqa min yanbu'i fadli sharbatan

Whoever tastes a sip from the spring of my grace

يُوقَى النِّفَاقَ وَمَا لَهُ تَقْتِيرُ

Yuqa an-nifaqa wa ma lahu taqtiru

Will be protected from hypocrisy, and will not be in want.

اللَّهُ مِنْ بَعْدِ الزِّيَادَةِ زَادَنِي

Allahu min ba'd az-ziyadati zadani

Allah has increased me after the increase,

فَهْوَ الْقَديرُ وَمَنْ لَدَيْهِ قَديرُ

Fahuwa al-qadiru wa man ladayhi qadiru

For He is the All-Powerful, and whoever is with Him is powerful.

La ilaha illallah, Ya Dasuqi, madad

There is no god but Allah, O Dasuqi, help!

وَالْعَيْشُ فِي دَارِ السَّعَادَةِ رَاقَنِي

Wal-'ayshu fi dari as-sa'adati raqani

And living in the abode of happiness pleases me,

وَجَهَنَّمٌ لِلْمُجْرِمِينَ حَصِيرُ

Wa jahannamu lil-mujrimina hasiru

While Hell is a confinement for the criminals.

La ilaha illallah, Ya Dasuqi, madad

There is no god but Allah, O Dasuqi, help!

الْوَقْتُ فِي سُنَنِ الْعِبَادَةِ قَدْ فَنَى

Al-waqtu fi sunan al-'ibadati qad fana

Time has passed in the ways of worship,

وَأَنَا بِقَوْلِي مُنْذِرٌ وَبَشِيرُ

Wa ana bi-qawli mundhirun wa bashiru

And I, with my words, am a warner and a bearer of good news.

La ilaha illallah, Ya Dasuqi, madad

There is no god but Allah, O Dasuqi, help!

وَتُرَى الْمَلَائِكُ فِي عُلَايَ تَحُفُّنِي

Wa tura al-mala'iku fi 'ulaya tahuffuni

And the angels are seen surrounding me in my high station,

فَأَنَا الْغَنِيُّ وَفِي غِنَايَ فَقِيرُ

Fa ana al-ghaniyyu wa fi ghinaya faqiru

For I am the rich, yet in my richness, I am poor.

La ilaha illallah, Ya Dasuqi, madad

There is no god but Allah, O Dasuqi, help!

اللَّهُ كَـــــافٍ وَالْعِنَايَةُ تَكْفِنِي

Allahu kafin wal-'inayatu takfini

Allah is sufficient, and His care suffices me,

وَالْأَمْرُ فِي خَتْمٍ إِلَيْهِ يَصِيرُ

Wal-amru fi khatmin ilayhi yasiru

And the matter, in its conclusion, returns to Him.

There is no god but Allah, O Dasuqi, help!

جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ مِنْ مَزَاهِدِ مَعْدِنِي

Jannatu 'adnin min mazahidi ma'dini

Gardens of Eden are from the asceticism of my essence,

وَبِكَفِّيَ الْإِبْصَارُ وَالتَّبْصِيرُ

Wa bi-kaffiya al-ibsaru wat-tabsirru

And in my palm is insight and enlightenment.

La ilaha illallah, Ya Dasuqi, madad

There is no god but Allah, O Dasuqi, help!

أَحْصَيْتُ أَنْفَاسَ الْخَلَائِقِ كُلِّهَا

Ahsaytu anfasa al-khala'iqi kulliha

I have counted all the breaths of creation,

وَالْكُلُّ عِنْدِيَ شَاهِقٌ وَزَفِيرُ

Wal-kullu 'indiya shahiqan wa zafiru

And all are with me, exhaling and inhaling.

There is no god but Allah, O Dasuqi, help!

لَوْلَا مَعَرَّةَ أَنْ تَضِيقَ عُقُولُكُمْ

Lawla ma'arrata an tadiqa 'uqulukum

Were it not for the shame that your minds would be narrow,

وَيَكُونَ مِنْكُمْ مُنْكِرٌ وَنَكِيرُ

Wa yakuna minkum munkirun wa nakiru

And that there would be deniers and disbelievers among you,

La ilaha illallah, Ya Dasuqi, madad

There is no god but Allah, O Dasuqi, help!

لَمَضَيْتُ فِي تِبْيَانِ عِلْمٍ خَصًّنِي

Lamadaytu fi tibyani 'ilmin khassani

I would have proceeded in clarifying a knowledge specific to me,

لِيُرَدَّ طَرْفُ الْخَاسِئِينَ حَسِيرُ

Liyuradda tarfu al-khasi'ina hasiru

So that the gaze of the humiliated would be returned in despair.

La ilaha illallah, Ya Dasuqi, madad

There is no god but Allah, O Dasuqi, help!

لَوَمِيضُ بَرْقٍ مِنْ شُعَاعِيَ لَوْ بَدَا

Lawamidhu barqin min shu'a'iya law bada

If a flash of lightning from my radiance were to appear,

مَلَأَ الصِّحَافَ وَمَا لَهُ تَحْبِيرُ

Mala'a as-sihhafa wa ma lahu tahbiru

It would fill the pages, and there would be no ink for it.

There is no god but Allah, O Dasuqi, help!

فَالْحَدُّ بَتَّارٌ يَفُلُّ حُدُودَهُمْ

Fal-haddu battarun yafulu hududahum

For the boundary is a sharp sword that breaks their limits,

مِنْ دُونِهِ لَا يُمْلَكُ الْقِطْمِيرُ

Min dunihi la yumlakul-qitmiru

Without it, not even a speck can be owned.
