Wa ṣawtak aḥlā mūsīqā fī al-makān

Yā ḥittah min qalbī wa rūḥī wa kawnī

Ha-talaqīnī qablak wāqif wa aḥmīk

يا أجمل رزق من رب العالمين

Oh, the most beautiful blessing from the Lord of the Worlds

أنا يمكن ما أملكش كنوز الدنيا

Anā yumkin mā amlaksh kunūz al-dunyā

I may not own the treasures of the world

بس إنت كنزي… وإنت كل اللي ليا

Bas inta kanzī... wa inta kull illī līyā

But you are my treasure... and you are all I have

بص يا ابني، الحياة مش دايمًا سهلة

Buṣṣ yā ibnī, al-ḥayāh mish dāyman sahlah

Look, my son, life isn't always easy

وفيها ناس تضحك وناس مش أصيلة

Wa fīhā nās taḍḥak wa nās mish aṣīlah

And it has people who laugh and people who are not genuine

خليك راجل، بس خليك طيب

Khallīk rāgil, bas khallīk ṭayyib

Be a man, but be kind

قلبك أبيض، وعقلك دايمًا صاحي

Your heart white, and your mind always awake

ما تبيعش نفسك علشان أي مصلحة

Don't sell yourself for any gain

ولا تكسر خاطر حد بإيدك

Wa lā taksir khāṭir ḥadd bi-īdak

And don't break anyone's heart with your hand

خليك كبير بأخلاقك ومواقفك

Khallīk kabīr bi-akhlaqak wa mawāqifak

Be great with your morals and your stances

مش بالفلوس ولا بكلام الناس حواليك

Mish bi-l-fulūs wa lā bi-kalām al-nās ḥawālayk

Not with money or with people's talk around you

لو وقعت، قوم، ما تستناش حد

If you fall, get up, don't wait for anyone

ولو اتظلمت، خليك أقوى من الظلم

Wa law iẓẓalamt, khallīk aqwā min al-ẓulm

And if you are wronged, be stronger than the injustice

خلي ضميرك صاحبك في كل خطوة

Khallī ḍamīrak ṣāḥibak fī kull khaṭwah

Let your conscience be your companion in every step

والحق دايمًا خليه عنوانك

And let truth always be your address

مش عايزك نسخة مني يا ابني

I don't want you to be a copy of me, my son

عايزك أحسن مني بمليون مرة

I want you to be a million times better than me

عايز أشوفك تحقق اللي حلمت بيه

I want to see you achieve what I dreamed of

وتوصل لمكان أنا ما قدرتش أوصله

Wa tūṣal li-makān anā mā qadirtish awṣaluh

And reach a place I couldn't reach

ويمكن ييجي يوم وتكبر وتبعد

And maybe one day you'll grow up and move away

وتبقى ليك دنيا وبيت وأحلام

Wa tibqā līk dunyā wa bayt wa aḥlām

And have your own world, home, and dreams

بس مهما تعدي سنين يا حبيبي

But no matter how many years pass, my darling

هتفضل عندي نفس الطفل اللي كان…

You'll remain to me the same child who was...

بيجري عليّا ويقولي يا بابا

Running to me and saying 'Baba'

Wa yumsik īdī wa yaḍḥak min qalbuh

وأنا أبص للسما وأقول يا رب

And I'd look at the sky and say, 'Oh Lord'

احفظلي ضنايا… ده أغلى ما عندي.

Protect my offspring... he is the most precious thing I have.

لو الزمن خدني بعيد عنك

If time takes me far from you

خلي كلامي دايمًا يعيش جواك

Let my words always live inside you

أنا أبوك… ودي مش مجرد كلمة

Anā abūk... wa dī mish mujarrad kalimah

I am your father... and this is not just a word

دي ضهرك لو الدنيا يوم هدت

Dī ḍahrak law al-dunyā yawm haddat

This is your support if the world ever crumbles

ولو كل الناس في يوم باعتك

And if all people one day betray you

أبوك عمره ما يبيعك ولا يسيبك

كان شايف الدنيا كلها…

Kān shāyif al-dunyā kulluhā...

He saw the whole world...

وكان شايفك إنت أغلى منها.

Wa kān shāyifak inta aghlā minhā.
