Years have passed, and we are together

وَحُبِّكْ كَيْكْبَرْ فِي قَلْبِي كُلَّ سَاعَةْ

And your love grows in my heart every hour

نْهَارْ اللِّي جْمَعْنَا رَبِّي، بْدَاتْ أَجْمَلْ حْكَايَةْ

The day God brought us together, the most beautiful story began

كُنْتِي لِيَّا زَوْجَةْ وَحْبِيبَةْ، وَرْفِيقَةْ فِي كُلِّ خْطَايَةْ

Kuntī līya zawja wḥbība, wrfīqa fī kulli khṭāya

You were my wife and my beloved, and a companion in every step

فِي الْفَرْحَةْ كُنْتِي مْعَايَا، وَفِي الضِّيقْ مَا خَلِّيتِينِيشْ

In joy, you were with me, and in hardship, you didn't leave me

وْفِي كُلِّ مَرَّةْ تْعَبْتْ فِيهَا، بِحْنَانَكْ وَاسِيتِينِيشْ

And every time I got tired, you comforted me with your tenderness

آهْ يَا حَنَانْ، يَا حَنَانْ

Ajmal hadīya mina r-raḥmān

The most beautiful gift from the Most Merciful

طَهْ وَجَادْ، ثَمْرَةْ حُبِّنَا

Ṭah wajād, thamrat ḥubbinā

Taha and Jad, the fruit of our love

فَرْحَةْ قْلُوبْنَا وَنُورْ عِينِينَا

The joy of our hearts and the light of our eyes

فِي ضَحْكَتْهُمْ كَنْشُوفْ وْجْهَكْ

Fī ḍaḥkathom kanshūf wjhak

In their laughter, I see your face

وَفِي عِينِيهُمْ كَنْشُوفْ حُبِّنَا

And in their eyes, I see our love

شْحَالْ مِنْ لِيلَةْ سَهْرْتِي

Shḥāl min līla sahrtī

How many nights you stayed up

وْشْحَالْ مِنْ تَعْبْ تْحَمَّلْتِي

And how much fatigue you endured

يَا أُمَّاهُمْ يَا حْنِينَةْ

Yā ummahom yā ḥnīna

Oh their mother, oh tender one

بْقِيتِي دَايْمًا مَلْجَأْ لِينَا

You always remained a refuge for us

إِلَا كُنْتْ يَوْمْ قَصَّرْتْ مْعَاكْ

If I ever fell short with you

سَامْحِينِي يَا أَغْلَى مَا عِنْدِي

Forgive me, oh dearest thing I have

رَاهْ الْكْلَامْ مَا يْوَفِّيشْ حَقَّكْ

Rāh l-klām mā ywaffīsh ḥaqqak

Words cannot do you justice

وْحُبِّكْ عَايْشْ دَايْمًا فِي قَلْبِي

And your love lives forever in my heart

إِلَا رْجَعْ بِيَّا الزَّمَانْ

وْغَدَا يْزِيدْ عَلَى اللِّي فَاتْ
