فِي خِتَامِ دَوْرَتِنَا

Fī khitāmi dawratinā

At the end of our course

مَا أَجْمَلَ الْبُشْرَى لَنَا

Mā ajmala al-bushrá lanā

How beautiful is the good news for us

بِالْقَاعِدَةِ النُّورَانِيَّة

Bil-qā'idati an-nūrāniyyah

With the Noorani Qaida

بَدَأَتْ رِحْلَتُنَا السَّنِيَّة

Bada'at riḥlatunā as-saniyyah

Our blessed journey began

يَا ربِّ لَكَ حَمْدُ الْقُلُوبْ

Yā Rabbi laka ḥamdu al-qulūb

O Lord, to You is the praise of hearts

يَا عَالِمًا كُلَّ الْغُيُوبْ

Yā 'āliman kulla al-ghuyūb

O Knower of all unseen things

يَسِّرْ لَنَا حِفْظَ الْكِتَابْ

Yassir lanā ḥifẓa al-kitāb

Make easy for us the memorization of the Book

وَافْتَحْ لَنَا لِلْخَيْرِ بَابْ

Waftaḥ lanā lil-khayri bāb

And open for us a door to goodness

حَرْفًا فَحَرْفًا نَقْرَأُ

Ḥarfan fa-ḥarfan naqra'u

Letter by letter we read

وَمَعَ الْحُرُوفِ نَبْدَأُ

Wa ma'a al-ḥurūfi nabda'u

And with the letters we begin

نُصْغِي وَنَنْطِقُ فِي أَنَاةْ

Nuṣghī wa nanṭiqu fī anāh

We listen and pronounce with patience

وَنُعِيدُ فِي جِدٍّ وَثَبَاتْ

Wa nu'īdu fī jiddin wa thabāt

And we repeat with diligence and steadfastness

فَتْحٌ وَضَمٌّ ثُمَّ كَسْرْ

Fatḥun wa ḍammun thumma kasr

Fatha, Damma, then Kasra

وَبِكُلِّ تَدْرِيبٍ نُسَرّْ

Wa bi-kulli tadrībin nusarr

And with every exercise, we are pleased

وَالْمَدُّ نُعْطِيهِ مَدَاهْ

Wal-maddu nu'ṭīhi madāh

And the 'madd' we give its full extent

وَالْحَرْفُ نُحْسِنُ إِذْ نَرَاهْ

Wal-ḥarfu nuḥsinu idh narāh

And the letter we perfect when we see it

يَا ربِّ لَكَ حَمْدُ الْقُلُوبْ

Mu'allimatī Umma Mu'ādh

My teacher, Umm Mu'adh

يا مَن تُحبّينَ الكتابْ

Yā man tuḥibbīna al-kitāb

O you who love the Book

بالصبرِ كنتِ تعلّمينْ

Biṣ-ṣabri kunti tu'allimīn

With patience you taught

وبكلِّ حبٍّ تُرشدينْ

Wa bi-kulli ḥubbin turshidīn

And with all love you guided

دَوْرَتُنَا الْيَوْمَ انْتَهَتْ

Dawratunā al-yawma intahat

Our course has ended today

وَرِحْلَةُ الْقُرْآنِ بَدَأتْ

Wa riḥlatu al-Qur'āni bada'at

And the journey of the Quran has begun

يَا رَبِّ بَارِكْ سَعْيَنَا

Yā Rabbi bārik sa'yanā

O Lord, bless our efforts

وَاجْعَلْ كِتَابَكَ نُورَنَا

Waj'al kitābuka nūranā

And make Your Book our light

بِالْقَاعِدَةِ النُّورَانِيَّة

Bil-qā'idati an-nūrāniyyah

With the Noorani Qaida

الْفَتْحِيَّةِ الْمُطَوَّرَةْ

Al-fatḥiyyati al-muṭawwarah

The developed Fathiyyah

نَمْضِي إِلَى الْقُرْآنِ مَعًا

Namḍī ilá al-Qur'āni ma'an

We proceed to the Quran together

بِقُلُوبِنَا المستبشرةْ

Bi-qulūbinā al-mustabshirah

With our joyful hearts

يَا ربِّ لَكَ حَمْدُ الْقُلُوبْ
