Bi-ikhtik quwwtik, w-fīha min quwwtik amān

In your sister is your strength, and in her strength is safety

بتزهى الحياة ببسمتها بأي مكان

Bitzaḥa il-ḥayāh bi-basmit-ha bi-ayy makān

Life flourishes with her smile anywhere

والقوة بتخلق من هيدا الحنان

W-il-quwwah bitkhlaq min hayda il-ḥanān

And strength is born from this tenderness

رب كريم بيحمينا بكل زمان

Rabb karīm biḥmīna bi-kull zamān

A generous Lord protects us at all times

وبعدو بيّ بيشد الضهر وبكون السند

And still, a father supports and is the backbone

وإم بتفيض بالحب وما بتخلص للأبد

W-imm bitfīḍ bil-ḥubb w-ma bitkhlaṣ lil-abad

And a mother overflows with love and never ends, forever

وخيّ بيحمي وبيدافع.. وإخت بتصون

And a brother protects and defends.. and a sister preserves

هيدا هو الحصن.. وهيدا سر الكون

Hayda huw il-ḥiṣn.. w-hayda sirr il-kawn

This is the fortress.. and this is the secret of the universe

يا خيي الإخت غيمة من السما

Ya khayy il-ikht ghaymah min is-sama

Oh my brother, the sister is a cloud from the sky

بوجودها البيت بيمتلي بالهنا

Bi-wujūdha il-bayt bīmtili bil-hana

With her presence, the house fills with joy

لو جار الزمان ودارت الإيام

Law jār iz-zamān w-dārat il-ayyām
